Mother's Day with Christina Crawford
Christina Crawford, daughter of Hollywood legend Miss Joan Crawford, and noted author of Mommie Dearest – discussed the whirlwind of activity that enveloped her since the sensational release of the tell-all tome at a sold-out event at New York’s Town Hall on May 6, 1998. Alan Klein Communications was hired to publicize the event.
Questioned on stage by legendary gossip columnist Rex Reed, Christina recounted her volcanic past in Tinseltown and shared behind-the-scenes tales of the making of the cult film classic based on her book. Ms. Crawford also signed copies of the 20th Anniversary Edition of Mommie Dearest which contained more than 100 pages of new material.
