NQAPIA

NQAPIA produced and launched a PSA campaign urging Asian and Pacific Islander (API) parents to accept their LGBTQ children. Nine different videos were submitted to ethnic media outlets for airing nationwide during LGBTQ Pride Month. Public Impact was retained to promote this first-ever multilingual video campaign. We planned and implemented a kick-off news conference and reception in New York City to herald the campaign.

Public Impact crafted a media strategy that included a hard-hitting news release to national media and provided on-site management to support a news conference and reception. The result was exposure from national media outlets.

We booked NQAPIA executive director Glenn Magpantay on MSNBC Live with Richard Lui, where he was interviewed about the groundbreaking PSA campaign and NQAPIA’s mission.
